Commander Docking Stations – Avidyne IFD Series

Lone Star Aviation’s Commander Docking Station for Avidyne are designed for the IFD-440, 540. and 550. The Commander Station includes everything you need to run the GPS unit outside of an aircraft, including power supply, top enclosure, and power/ harness cable.  The harness has dual connectors, i.e. a 78 pin Male and a 25 pin female for main power for general set up as well as software/firmware updates.  The docking station allows the pilot to explore basic to advanced GPS features and functionality in a non-flying environment.  Ideal for basic to intermediate training in the privacy of your home, office or classroom. Options available for a desk TOP cooling FAN that plugs into the rear panel of the Commander Station.  Part number is LS03-02013 for a 12v blower with 5/8 inch manifold to hold the tubing to the rear of the IFD enclosure.
